Join us for our first Community Kitchen of the year! In celebration of Indigenous food, we’ll prepare delicious recipes that seek to connect with the land. In addition to creating food, you’ll learn about sustainable food systems and access to traditional foods, especially in an urban setting like Toronto.
Come and Learn how to make a delicious dish with Chef Johl from NishDish, who will be speaking about First Nations food sovereignty and NishDish’s 12-year journey in this work. Carolynne Crawley from FoodShare will be speaking about the work she does in relation to Indigenous food justice.
