Details: Hart House Chamber Strings is a student-run music ensemble whose members share a love for traditional chamber music. The Pops Concert is an opportunity for the group to spread their wings and engage with local songwriters and musicians from Toronto’s vibrant music scene. Through innovative scoring and adding classical and indie genres together our annual pops concert is an epic night of original independent music and strings.
The concert will feature the following artists:

- Joe Zambon
- Abigail Lapell
- Rose-Erin Stokes
The Pops Concert is directed and coordinated by long-time chamber strings member and string player Blaise Alleyne and exemplifies the kind of serendipitous adventures can that take place at Hart House!

About Blaise Alleyne
Blaise Alleyne is a technologist, a musician and a writer living in Toronto, Canada. He has completed a bachelor’s degree in computer science, English and philosophy at the University of Toronto and is a part-time student in the Masters of Theological Studies program at Regis College. He’s an advocate for free software and free culture. He is blessed with a wonderful family.
