ArtWORK: A Survey of Jobs in Toronto’s Fine Art Community

ArtWork Poster Image Details: Curated by students, ArtWORK is a symposium aimed at raising awareness amongst fellow art undergraduates of the vast professional possibilities available within Toronto’s artistic community, post-graduation.


Nine speakers, carefully selected from Toronto’s leading fine art professionals, will present on their work in the field. Come learn about the different aspects of art as a profession, and engage in special conversation with our panelists!


Speakers to include: David Silcox (Sotheby’s Canada), Barbara Edwards (Barbara Edwards Contemporary), Sophie Hackett (Assistant Curator of Photography, AGO), Kathleen McLean (Assistant to Education Programming & Outreach, AGO), Francesco Corsaro (Co-Founder & VP of Festival X Ottawa Photography Festival), and more.


There will be three panels of speakers, consisting of three speakers each who will present and converse for approximately 12 minutes/per on their work in the field. Inclusive of a Q&A period, each panel will last for an hour after which there will be a 15 minute break. Refreshments will be provided during this time.
