Details: Celebrate the season with your friends and colleagues at our famous Winter Buffet. Treat yourself to a glass of fine white, red or sparkling wine while you indulge in Chef Marco Tucci’s bountiful selection of locally sourced dishes including traditional stuffed turkey, Ontario slow-roasted beef, pasta, sustainable seafood catch of the day, vegan entrées, assorted sides and a decadent selection of desserts.

 

A roaring fire, an elegant atmosphere and smiling service all await you at the Hart House Winter Buffet.

Group rates:
10 or more people: Adult $36 (includes HST)

Please note: to ensure that you will be seated together, your tickets must be purchased at the same time.

 

The Hart House Winter Buffet always sells out, so book early!
Gratuity included in the ticket price. Cash bar available.
Please note – Patrons attending the 11:45am sitting may stay until the Winter Buffet ends at 2:45 pm.

The Venue

 

For over 90 years, the breathtaking setting of the Great Hall at Hart House has been host to some of the city’s most memorable events.

 

The room features a travertine floor, oak wainscoting, timber arches supported by carved stone corbels and a Gothic Tower complete with windows and crenellations masking a circular stone staircase.


The Chef

 

Marco TucciThe Executive Chef for Hart House Events & Catering, Marco Tucci creates a true culinary experience for each of the 1200 events he oversees annually.

 

A Red Seal Certified chef, Marco holds a degree in hospitality from Ryerson University.

 

His education combined with years of experience as chef’s assistant, sous chef and Executive Chef allow him to bring a fresh approach to each of the wide range of events that take place at Hart House.

 

Marco has had the honour of preparing meals for a host of diplomats and celebrities including Margaret Atwood, Donovan Bailey, Romeo Dellaire, Irshad Manji, Vivien Miller, Bob Rae and Mary Walsh as well as for events such as the Toronto International Film Festival and Royal Agricultural Fair.
