Agriculture at Hart House

Developing sustainable small-scale processes of food production

The Farming Subcommittee aims to develop sustainable agricultural use of the farm by collaborating with various other student groups, creating faculty-staff-alumni partnerships. This subcommittee aims to make the farm a place of collaborative, integrated, intentional learning for co-curricular education. Farming activities are aimed to engage students with the small-scale processes of food production that are often overlooked and neglected in modern society. We will hold workshops and events during several stages of agricultural production at the farm and in Hart House.

The Farm Committee is looking to increase agricultural production for next season. If you are interested in helping out send an email to farm.committee@gmail.com.
